Ireland’s wild west coast is the bicycle ride of a lifetime. For every lush green field there’s a dramatic cliffside, for every crumbling castle with regal history there’s a cosy pub where you can refuel. Join us as we explore stunning nature, immerse ourselves in Irish culture and enjoy the warmest of local hospitality accompanied, of course, by a pint of Guinness or two.

With the Atlantic Ocean on our sides, Pedal & Sea’s eight-day Western Ireland tour takes cyclists through Counties Clare, Galway and Mayo, and includes opportunities to experience some of the country’s most famous sites and terrain — the towering Cliffs of Moher will take your breath away, the rocky landscape of The Burren will enchant, and Ballyconneely Bay will inspire more than a few photo opportunities.

While it’s hard to choose just one highlight of this tour, we know you’ll love hopping aboard a ferry — bicycles and all — to visit Inishmore, the largest of the intimate Aran islands. Our time here will make you wonder if you really want to leave Ireland at the end of the week.

You’ll cycle between 35-80 kilometres each day during the trip — every ride with van support — though there are two days saved for exploration via cycling or hiking, exploring small towns, even fishing. Evenings will be spent at luxurious inns and lodges with beautiful grounds prime for relaxing after a full day in the saddle.Read more about this eight-day itinerary here including 2019 scheduled departures and prices.
